Sleek Narrow Oak Planks for a Balanced Floor

Sleek Narrow Oak Planks for a Balanced Floor

The Kahrs Element Collection offers sleek, slightly narrower 151 mm White Oak planks, brushed and beveled, in four calm tones: Pure, Crisp, Bright and Cinder.

Element is built around proportion. Its somewhat narrower 151 mm plank width is a deliberate design choice that creates a balanced, orderly floor impression rather than the broad statement of a wide board. The four tones, Oak Pure, Crisp, Bright and Cinder, run from light and airy to a deeper, smokier shade, making the collection flexible for both bright minimalist rooms and cozier, more grounded spaces.

Each plank is refined through brushing and staining and topped with a microbevel on all four edges that defines each board. Construction is 3-layer engineered White Oak with a brushed surface. Element installs glue-down or floating, with the Woodloc 5S locking system joining boards into a tight, durable seam. Kahrs backs the collection with a 25-year warranty.

Questions & Answers
Why is Element a narrower plank?

The 151 mm width is a key design feature. The slightly narrower board gives a balanced, evenly proportioned floor, which works well in rooms where a wide plank would feel too dominant.

What colors are available in Element?

Element offers four tones: Oak Pure, Oak Crisp, Oak Bright and Oak Cinder, ranging from light and airy to a deeper, smokier shade.

How is the surface finished?

Each plank is brushed and stained and topped with a microbevel on all four edges. Brushing brings out the grain, and the microbevel cleanly defines each board.

Is Element solid or engineered hardwood?

Element is a 3-layer engineered White Oak floor with a genuine oak surface, more dimensionally stable than solid wood across seasonal humidity.

What installation and warranty does Element have?

Element installs glue-down or floating with the Woodloc 5S joint, and Kahrs covers it with a 25-year warranty when care guidance is followed.
